Due to the expansion of our sales activity on the European market we are looking for an ambitious and experienced


Position based in Vienna, Austria

Your tasks:
  • Manage the international sales team and the related customer structures, considering the economic and quality requirements for customer segments, markets and products in line with the Business Unit strategy
  • Develop sales strategies in view to increase management profit and market shares in Europe
  • Organize and steer product launches, prices, go-to-market-activities and quality strategies for the Sales Team
  • Improve key processes in the business like product forecasting and production planning
  • Provide input from the Sales Force to the Portfolio and Marketing Manager about new developments, customer needs and trends in the market, with focus to new business opportunities
  • Responsible for a suitable sales planning and implementation, based on the sales budget and in agreement with Production, Supply Chain and Finance
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the sales team, providing coaching and feedback
  • Report directly to the Business Unit Manager
Your skills:
  • Practical experience and sound knowledge or relevant degree in Marketing and/or Business Administration
  • Min. 5 years’ experience in a similar position in the biocides or other highly regulated industries (e.g. Healthcare, Engineering, Automotive)
  • Perfect command of English and German, ideally fluent in French
  • Ability to think strategically and define business opportunities or create value-add solutions
  • Strong business acumen with "Hands on" – mentality
  • Willingness to tackle and solve all topics in a consequent and focussed manner
  • Dynamic and persistent personality with the ability to get things done
  • Strong leadership and coaching skills
  • Very good customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
